Terms of Use – Contech Connect
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to, registration for, and participation in Contech Connect (the “Event”), organized by Contech Connect (the “Organizer”).
By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.
2. Tickets – Personal Use and Conditions

Event tickets are personal, nominative, and non-transferable. Tickets may not be resold, transferred, or shared with another person.

Each participant must use the ticket issued in their own name to access the Event.
3. Cancellation, Refunds, and Event Changes

Participant cancellation: Tickets are non-refundable if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the Event date.

No-show: In the event of a participant not attending the Event without prior cancellation (no-show), the ticket will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Force majeure: In the event of cancellation of the Event due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or security risks), tickets will be fully refunded.

Event postponement: In the event the Event is postponed, tickets will automatically remain valid for the new date, and no refund will be issued on this basis alone.
4. Event Access and Conduct
4.1 Ticket Inclusions
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the ticket description, tickets do not include meals or catering services.
Meals are included only if expressly specified in the ticket type or package purchased.

5. Networking Platform (Brella)
To enhance the Event experience, Contech Connect uses the Brella networking application.
By attending the Event, participants agree, as far as reasonably possible, to:

Complete and maintain an accurate professional profile
This enables participants to:

Access the Event agenda

Request and receive meeting invitations

Schedule one-to-one meetings
-
Participate fully in networking activities
The Organizer is not responsible for technical issues related to third-party applications.
6. Photography, Video, and Media
By attending the Event, participants acknowledge and accept that photos, videos, and audio recordings may be taken during the Event and used by the Organizer and its partners for communication, promotional, and archival purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in such materials must inform the Organizer in advance or on-site.
7. Data Protection and Partner Sharing
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Contech Connect Privacy Policy.
By registering for the Event, participants acknowledge and accept that their contact details, including email address, may be shared with the Event’s official partners, sponsors, and exhibitors for purposes related to the Event, including professional follow-up and communication.

All content presented at the Event (including talks, slides, videos, interviews, branding, and materials) is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the property of Contech Connect or its respective owners.
No recording, reproduction, or distribution is permitted without prior authorization, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
9. Liability
The Organizer makes reasonable efforts to ensure the quality and safety of the Event but shall not be held liable for:

Schedule changes, speaker cancellations, or technical issues

Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

Indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in the Event
Participants attend the Event at their own risk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from participation in the Event shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
